Peter McLean

Pete started his own business 12 years ago as a student at Napier from the Craiglockhart Incubator and is delighted to be sharing his entrepreneurial journey over the last 12 years with the Napier community.

Pete started with a Scottish hamper business in his bedroom, which soon grew to a multi operational food and drinks business employing 40 people, catering for Amazon, Skyscanner and the NHS. He then launched a commercial bakery distributing UK wide and ran a busy city centre cafe.

Volunteering with Young Enterprise and Princes Trust has been extremely rewarding for Pete and he looks forward to mentoring lots of exciting businesses and helping nurture entrepreneurial skills in Napier students.
