Volunteer at Turing Fest 31 July, 1 August, 2 August 2018

June 13, 2018

Turing Fest is looking for future leaders in technology and in the events industry who want to get their hands dirty helping to deliver Scotland’s largest technology conference.

Turing Fest brings leaders in tech to Scotland for two days of insight and inspiration in the heart of the Edinburgh festivals. 2018 is going to be the biggest Turing Fest yet — six conference tracks, over two days, each offering a deep dive into a different aspect of how we use technology to build and grow amazing businesses. Be part of an amazing crowd — founders, investors, executives, engineers, product managers, designers and marketers — all learning, sharing, networking and having fun together.

Volunteers are required for three days: 31 July 2018, 1 August 2018 and 2 August 2018. Volunteers will be based at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre and will also assist with several ancillary events within the city centre. Lunch is provided as well as access to several of our talks and events each day. Shifts are eight hours with one hour for lunch and two additional breaks.

Volunteers will help deliver the festival via the following roles:

  • ● Delegate and VIP registration
  • ● Event Set-up and Breakdown (manual handling under 15 kg)
  • ● Ushering and Delegate Assistance

Training will be provided on Tuesday, 31 July 2018 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre. The venue is fully accessible.

Turing Fest is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. Please read Turing Fest’s Code of Conduct for more details.
