Business of the Year

Who is it for?

If you have an existing business or a rigorously tested business idea and have ambitious plans for global growth, we want to hear from you. We welcome applications across all industry sectors and enterprise types, for both product and service-based businesses.

What is it?

The Bright Red Sparks Business of the Year category is an intensive accelerator programme with a competitive twist.

Over the course of seven weeks, you will be required to participate in three full 3-day sprints on the following dates:

  • 26, 27, & 28 May 2021
  • 16, 17, & 18 June 2021
  • •  7, 8, & 9 July 2021

These 3-day sprints will equip you with knowledge, tools, and support you need to help you drive the growth of your business.

In between each sprint, you will also be required to complete work assigned during the programme in preparation for the next session.

Upon completion of the programme, a final winner will be announced based on a combination of programme participation, merit, and business progress.

What can I win?

A total of £16,000 in cash prizes is on offer throughout the programme.

Each participant will be awarded £1,000 upon being successful in joining the programme and participating in all the sessions.

£2,000 will be awarded as spot prizes throughout the programme, with a final £4,000 being awarded to the overall Business of the Year winner.
