For businesses that have been operating for 1+ years. If you have ambitious plans for growth, apply now.
Do you have a business that will change the world for the better? This category is for pre-start or early-stage social enterprises.
Edinburgh Napier staff who have developed projects or programmes that get our students involved in enterprise activities, this category is for you.
Have you developed or delivered a community project with a social or environmental focus? If so, this category is for you.

Business Model Canvas
*For Bright Ideas, Business for Good, Going for Growth, Freelancer of the Year categories only!
Business Model Canvas (BMC) is a strategic management and lean startup template for developing new or documenting existing business models. You will need to complete a BMC and upload it to your application form if you are applying for the Bright Ideas, Business for Good, Freelancer of the Year, or Going for Growth categories.
No matter what category you are applying for – you will need to complete a 60 second video pitch. All pitch videos must be uploaded to YouTube (it can be made private) and then the link (and password, if applicable) added to your application form.
All pitches for those shortlisted into the Bright Red Sparks finals will be shown at our awards dinner on Thursday, 9 April 2020.

All you need to do is click the link below and head over to our application form. Answer the questions relevant to your entry, upload your Business Model Canvas, and add the link (and password, if required) to your 60 second video pitch, and that’s you in the running to win!
