Venture Incubation

In light of COVID-19, we have some important news and updates to share with all of our members. Please click here to find out more. If you are a freelancer or SME and are looking for extra support during this time, read our blog here. Our Business Advisers will continue to be on hand to offer advice via phone or Skype during this uncertain time. Please do reach out.

We have two awesome incubator spaces to support you in starting and growing your business.

Our incubator spaces provide workspace to current students, staff, and alumni of Edinburgh Napier University. There is no time limit and these facilities are completely free of charge. As well as physical workspace, we have a community of like-minded entrepreneurs and experienced staff on hand to support you through your journey.

Each space operates on a hot-desk policy, meaning you can rock up and use any desk you wish.  All we ask is that you tidy up after yourself and take any belongings home with you in line with the university’s clear desk policy.

As well as desk space, we also have a range of casual meeting spaces, printing services, and other facilities. Plus you can use our incubators as your registered mailing address free of charge (just make sure you remember to collect your mail).

  • Free workspace for as long as you need it

  • A supportive environment to help you grow
  • Registered business and mailing address
  • Business advice and mentoring from our experienced staff
  • Expert tailored advice from our ACE Network
  • BRT community networking and social activities
  • A range of expert programmes, workshops, and masterclasses

We operate two business incubator spaces at Edinburgh Napier University’s Merchiston and Craiglockhart campuses.

Each space has a dedicated Incubator Manager on hand to help. Both of our incubator spaces are open 7 days a week (Monday to Friday 9am – 9pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am – 5pm). We do close our spaces during some public holidays but we always give you plenty of notice.
