Who am I! – First Session by Bright Red Triangle

September 19, 2019

This Tuesday, 17 September 2019, our first ‘Who am I!’ workshop took place. The session was delivered by our very own Pete McLean, Nick Fannin and Vladimir Ivanov.Β

Vladimir Ivanov, BRT Coordinator
Pete McLean, BRT Business Adviser
Nick Fannin, Head of Bright Red Triangle

Our Bright Red Triangle team worked with a group of students for two hours, going through a number of exercises to help students define their values, skills, experience, interests, and goals. The rationale behind this exercise was to provide students with an opportunity to really think and reflect on their ‘why’.

Why do we do what we do?

Why do we get out of bed every morning?

What are the biggest boundaries to achieving our goals?

These questions are difficult, but extremely important, and it is clear to all of us that one cannot answer of theses questions in a two-hour workshop alone. However, what our students can do is start the process, and embark on the long but gratifying journey of continual personal improvement and reflection.

We realise that this may sound daunting at first, but remember our team is on hand to guide you through this process and provide you with the tools and techniques to make this journey a success.

If you missed our first ‘Who am I!’ workshop, don’t worry, we are holding another!

Our next workshop is this Friday, 20 September, in room 3.D.11, at Sighthill campus.Β
